A New Family of Step-Up Hybrid Switched-Capacitor Integrated Multilevel Inverter Topologies With Dual Input Voltage Sources

In the low voltage based renewable systems like PV and Fuel cell applications, step-up of output to drive loads is essential. For this, integration switched-capacitor (SC) units with dc-ac converters will have potential advantages improved efficiency, optimal switching devices, small size passive elements (L C) as compared traditional two-stage conversion system (dc/dc converter dc/ac converter). This paper focuses on a new family multilevel inverter topologies switched capacitor dual input sources. With flexibility 2 dc sources circuits, four different been suggested in this features high gain, reduced component count, stress self-voltage balancing while achieving higher number levels. A detailed analysis proposed inverters has analyzed symmetrical asymmetrical mode operations associated levels, other performance indices are presented. An in-depth study all accomplished several comparative studies terms components gain cost. The effectiveness practicability topology 13 level explained by experimental results obtained from scale down prototype.
